Reporting to the Line Leader / Shift Manager, your role will include:

  • Setting up the packaging machines to meet the specific customer specifications.
  • Oversee the lines with respect to weighing through to packing and to monitor quality the quality of the product packaging and packing whilst achieving targets and deadlines.
  • Develop an understanding of the remaining lines and to be in a position to offer cover for the line leader in the event of absence.
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by the Line Leader / Shift Manager

12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Full time, office based. AAT Level 4 desirable.

Working as part of a busy Finance team for a fast-paced FMCG Company, post holder undertakes a range of financial activities including:

  • Credit control and Sales Ledger Control
  • Provide a financial point of contact to the company’s customers
  • Account for all cash received from customers
  • Cover for sales invoices being raised
  • Provide financial assistance to the Financial Accountant
  • Monitor credit ratings of customers
  • Process the account applications for new customers, conduct credit checks and obtain credit references

The post holder speaks with customers and suppliers over the phone and corresponding via email. They have a can-do attitude, are customer focused and a team player.

NPD Project Manager
Full Time, LOCATION: plymouth

Full time, office based, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Travel between Plymouth & Leicester sites required.

The post holder will have substantial project management experience ideally gained in an FMCG environment. The role will include the following activities:

  • Provides project leadership on complex innovation projects and drives the Innovation pipeline forward, maintaining a pro-active focus on execution of project deliverables.
  • Leads multi-discipline Innovation projects through the innovation process until product launch.
  • Undertakes feasibility studies (process/equipment/ capability) for new product ideas in line with NPD process and ensures best practice risk assessment protocols are adhered to.
  • Supports the Head of NPD and ensures the business’ compliance with the its Innovation and NPD Process and with other project management and associated Policies, Procedures, Processes.
  • Leads and Manages a small multi-site team of NPD professionals.

Prince 2 Project Management Qualification or equivalent level qualification desirable.

NPD Technologist
Full Time, LOCATION: plymouth

To work innovatively with our internal commercial teams (Sales & Marketing) and with external customers to realise (Develop and launch) a program of new product development to ensure that we offer the best possible product range to our customers.


  • Co-ordinate effective NPD communications to the business to all key stakeholders/Team members
  • Manage and keep updated the NPD project tracker
  • Co-ordinate NPD/EPD product & pack/case/pallet information to ensure all information is accurate and available when necessary to produce customer requirements
  • Make kitchen samples for a variety of purposes.
  • Submit product sample ( with costs, rationale & nutrionals) submissions to brand manager for consumer research, customers for customer panels and attend customer panels alongside commercial  manager to illicit direct feedback/ product development points.
  • Proactively work with suppliers to understand latest new techniques, flavours, products etc. Provide updates to key stakeholders in rest of business.
  • Manage test kitchen to ensure it is stocked and maintained to the highest standards
  • Control & manage NPD paperwork system
  • Develop & demonstrate knowledge of our customer & consumer requirements and actively contribute, challenge and enhance   briefs
  • Lead internal projects through the NPD process
  • Collate, analyse and report on NPD performance figure
  • Work with other members of the business on approving customer specifications & artwork
  • Request and provide product samples for sales team, customers, PR and other events.
  • Lead and attend production trials and first production run of products, as and when necessary, to ensure compliance/validation of the specification/costs and process.
  • Work within the NPD team to identify opportunities for development of new products that will contribute to the overall profitability of the business.
  • Attend idea generation sessions with key stakeholders/departments to feed into future innovation plans.



  • Degree level or equivalent in a food related subject desirable



  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Previous experience in a brand led New Product Development role is desirable
  • Experience working with the key retailers would be desirable as would experience working on ambient products
  • Food and FMCG would be preferable
